The Divide EP coming 01.06.2018
After a long wait, we are finally ready to announce the release of 'The Divide EP'. It is bigger, better and more ambitious than our previous release and the production has been much more collaborative; we are really happy with how it has turned out. It will be available on all platforms on 01.06.2018

New Guitarist
Wheel had a major change earlier this year in January when Saku Mattila decided to leave the band to pursue other projects. We are truly sorry to see him go as he has been amazing to work with both on and off the stage; we remain on great terms with him socially and look forward to following him in his future career. From all of us, thank you Saku for everything you did and we wish you all the best for the future.
Despite this drastic change and after several difficult months, we are finally ready to move forward. As of one month ago, we have recruited the wonderfully talented Roni Seppänen and have been working with him closely, both in the rehearsal room and on some new material. We have already come up with some great new ideas and are looking forward to playing at Summer Breeze with him in August.
TLDR: life is short and things change but Wheel continues!

Recording time booked for EP 2
At the end of August, Wheel will be heading into the studio to record their anticipated second EP. The band had the following to say about the new material they are currently working on, "the next EP will be an amalgamation of everything we have learned from and since making the last recording. All of the new songs have been written by all four of us and are significantly more ambitious than anything we have tried before. We are really pushing ourselves to make the very best music we can and we are all looking forward to playing the new songs live in the near future!"
Currently there is no planned release date for the EP but it is likely to be available at some point in early autumn, 2016.
